CG Shoopmann (They/Them)

Hello! My name is Cecilia Shoopmann, but I go by CG and use they/them pronouns. I am currently Environmental Science student at DePaul University about to start my senior year. I am a queer, non-binary individual whose passion lies with birds, trees, and learning how people connect with and impact nature. In addition to being a DePaul Undergraduate 2019 Summer Fellow, I work in Dr. Jess Vogt's Lab for Urban Forestry in the Anthropocene at DePaul, where I'm working on the Climate-Informed Urban Forest Management project.  I am also the current President of Spectrum DePaul, a community based LGBTQIA+ organization.
I'm thrilled to be working at the Urban Wildlife Institute at the Lincoln Park Zoo this summer. Thanks for checking out my blog, and I hope you enjoy reading through it!
